Japanka.com is a young internet company specialized in delivering you the best and newest from the land of the rising sun. Since our inception we've been trying to balance between constantly adding more value to our Customers and keeping our expenses in check, i.e. our prices low. Our main customers are the emerging economies of Central and Eastern Europe, but we also ship to Western Europe as well as North America.

How do we strive to add value and what are our competitive advantages?

1. We operate from Tokyo - the most competitive place in the world for consumer electronics. Our customers should have no doubts about that whatsoever. And we all know what competition does - drives the prices down. Furthermore, we ONLY do business with wholesalers located in the famous neighborhood Akihabara (秋葉原), also known as Akihabara Electric Town (秋葉原電気街, Akihabara Denki Gai). And last, but not least, the so very cheap Japanese yen.

2. We keep our expenses low:

• This is not our only business, so we realize some economies of scope;

• Japanka.com is a simple and dynamic website with minimum product information. We keep our eyes mainly on the price. There is SO MUCH information, product reviews, photos out there, that we didn't see how we could do more in this regard. All you have to do is browse (Google) a little, read a few reviews and see some photos. Go even to your local electronics store and ask the sales assistant there for an opinion. Decide on what you want, come to us and check our price. If we don't have it, we will do our best to find it and send you a quote;

• We have nothing in stock. Japanka.com acts as your agent to the Japanese seller;

• Everything is done over the Internet;
